Connect Recharge to Perplexity
Add Recharge to Perplexity as a custom connector and you can check your allowance and book leave from a chat. It’s four steps.

Copy your Recharge MCP server URL from the box above.

Open Perplexity’s Connectors page and choose to add a custom connector.

Name it “Recharge” and paste the URL as the remote MCP server URL.

Sign in with your Recharge account when prompted.
Then ask
You don’t need special syntax. Perplexity works out which Recharge tool to use.
- “How many holiday days do I have left this year?”
- “Do I have any TOIL banked?”
- “Suggest some good dates for a long weekend.”
- “Book next Tuesday off for a hospital appointment.”
- “Is there a clash if I’m off the week of the 12th?”
- “What’s waiting on me to approve? (managers)”
Good to know
- It’s your account, nothing more. You sign in with your normal Recharge login and approve a consent screen. Perplexity gets your permissions, not its own access, and there’s no shared API key.
- Writes are logged. Anything that books, changes or cancels leave goes into the same audit log as the dashboard.
- Managers can’t approve their own leave, in chat or anywhere else.
