Connect Recharge to Claude
Add Recharge to Claude as a custom connector and you can check your allowance, get date suggestions and book leave in a chat. It’s four steps, and the name and URL are pre-filled for you.

Copy your Recharge MCP server URL from the box above.

Open Claude’s custom connector dialog. The name and URL come pre-filled.

Claude will warn that the connector was suggested by an external link. Check the URL matches the one above, then tap “Add”.

Tap “Connect” next to the new Recharge connector and sign in with your Recharge account.
Then ask
You don’t need special syntax. Claude works out which Recharge tool to use.
- “How many holiday days do I have left this year?”
- “Do I have any TOIL banked?”
- “Suggest some good dates for a long weekend.”
- “Book next Tuesday off for a hospital appointment.”
- “Is there a clash if I’m off the week of the 12th?”
- “What’s waiting on me to approve? (managers)”
Good to know
- It’s your account, nothing more. You sign in with your normal Recharge login and approve a consent screen. Claude gets your permissions, not its own access, and there’s no shared API key.
- Writes are logged. Anything that books, changes or cancels leave goes into the same audit log as the dashboard.
- Managers can’t approve their own leave, in chat or anywhere else.

Custom connectors are controlled by Anthropic, and may depend on your Claude plan or on an organisation admin. If you can’t add one, check with your Claude admin or in Anthropic’s help centre.
