What’s new in Recharge
New features, improvements and fixes, roughly every week. Each update is tagged so you can see at a glance what’s new, what’s improved, and what we’ve fixed.
Book leave from your AI assistant
Step-by-step guides for booking leave from ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools, plus tidier Slack and Discord updates that don’t clutter your channels.
New
- Setup guides for booking leave from ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot Studio. See the guides
- One page listing everything Recharge connects to. Browse integrations
- Choose which teams appear in a channel’s daily “who’s out” summary, so each channel only hears about the people it cares about.
- Swipe a notification left to dismiss it.
Improved
- Discord now shows one card per leave request. When it’s approved or declined, that same card updates instead of a second message being posted.
- Picking a Slack channel now adds Recharge to it automatically, so you don’t have to invite the bot yourself.
- Approve and Decline buttons in Slack and Discord respond reliably, even when nobody has used them in a while.
- If a notification fails to send, Recharge retries it for you. “Who’s out” summaries now show in the delivery log too.
- The dashboard appears straight away after you sign in, with your data filling in a moment later.
Fixed
- Occasional errors after the app had been idle for a while. Sign-in also recovers on its own after a brief outage.
- Linking your Discord account now tells you what went wrong if it fails, and saving a Slack channel shows an error instead of a broken page.
- A billing lookup for older subscriptions, and a splash-screen glitch in the installed app.
Sign in with a code, a password, or Google
A simpler sign-in, a checkout that explains exactly what you’ll pay, and a faster dashboard.
New
- Sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email, a password, or your Google account. Existing passwords still work, and you can reset a forgotten one from the sign-in page.
- When you connect ChatGPT or another AI tool, Recharge shows you exactly what it’s asking to access before you approve.
Improved
- Checkout explains per-seat billing and how to cancel, and shows the founding-member price when it applies.
- Faster dashboard: Recharge now runs in London, right next to its database.
- If something goes wrong loading the app, you get a clear “Try again” screen instead of a blank page.
Fixed
- Sign-in sometimes failing with a server error.
- Some public pages not loading for signed-out visitors.
